The Concept - In today's custom home market, owners are concerned with the cost of the project, the construction schedule, and the quality of the finished product. Coulter Construction Company is committed to bringing each owner the highest quality home for the owner's construction dollar in as short a time as is practical. To this end, we have spent considerable time developing The Coulter Way, which incorporates the methods and procedures we utilize to provide pre-construction services all the way through the close-out of construction and the turning over of the keys to your new home. We believe this approach sets us apart in the industry because it allows us to achieve consistently excellent results in every new home,addition, renovation or restoration we build.

As residential construction has become more complicated and construction costs have risen, more and more sophisticated owners, as well as architects are using a team approach to the design and construction of their projects. They have found that such an approach gives the owner more control during the design of the project, it greatly reduces the possibility of having the final price exceed the original budget, it reduces change orders, and generally provides a more harmonious working relationship throughout the design and construction of the project. This is why the vast majority of the work we do each year is through our team method.

Providing pre-construction services through the team approach is our forte. Internally we also use the team approach to provide the pre-construction services and ultimately construct the project. This allows us to commit diversely experienced personnel to each of our projects, which greatly enhances our ability to assist in the planning and the actual building of a successful project. Also, it assures the owner that more than just a few people are familiar with the details of the project.
